Finally got my Starbucks planner today. I was getting fed up drinking the same old Toffee nut frap for a week now and finally today was the last of it :p
This would be my first planner ever and honestly i won’t be using it😛
i just wanted to get it since i really got hooked drinking fraps lately so better get it na lang para may balik kahit papano hehe
Anyway, as i was looking at the planner, i noticed that it had this engraved image on its cover. It formed an image of a man seated on a comfortable chair drinking coffee. And as i was walking home, i was thinking anu kaya yung pwede kong gawing subject today na pwede kong marelate dun sa planner. And the idea of an architect came to mind.
Each of us is like an architect. We plan and design ways on how we want things to be achieved and sometimes we have to get through a lot of obstacles and hindrances before we could achieve our goals.
I had big plans for wifey and Hannah. I wanted to have a big house of our own and a car for our family. But planning these things is not easy especially when your resources are limited and when problems start to hinder you from achieving your plans. Sometimes, it is just easier to give up and say "bahala na si Batman" when things are not going your way.
Just wanna share this verse from the Bible and it’s in Jeremiah 29:11. it says "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future". It just gives me strength and hope whenever i remember this verse because i know that the ultimate Architect of all has much bigger and better plans for me and my family than the plans that i have.
Mel Whitley and Robert Hammond designed the Batboat from a Glastron V-174. They added a red flashing beacon, glowing eyes, batzooka hatches, seats for both Batman and Robin at the front of the boat, twin wind screens, a center console, an outdrive jet cover, and an aft to deck cover with a glowing Bat-Signal on the tail fin. Although the boat was powered by a Merc Cruiser Chevrolet V-6 and Attwood Corporation manufactured the hardwire, a water squirter and a jet nozzle were added to make the Batboat look like it was nuclear-powered. It took 31 days to build.
Eventually, a replica was built of the Batboat. When the Batman television show was cancelled, Glastron used the two Batboats for promotions on tours. After much touring, the boats were sold. One boat went to a Glastron dealer who was a Shriner. He used it in various Shriner parades. This Batboat was then moved to the Car Stars museum in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
